German car magazine “auto motor und sport” (ams) has published results from the readers’ poll Best Cars 2015. Škoda Octavia third generation won the award for the best imported car in the compact class. Since its launch in early 2013, “mladoboleslavský” (adj., location of Škoda Auto factory) bestseller has earned already 44 national and international car prices.
Car factory Škoda Auto has sold more than 500.000 of Octavia III. In 2014, sales of this model increased globally by 8.1% (388,000 sold cars). In Western Europe was sales increase even 22.5%. In addition, Octavia was the best-selling new car on the markets in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Finland, Poland, the Slovak Republic, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland.
Škoda Octavia third generation is offered in 11 variants: Octavia, Octavia Combi, Octavia 4×4, Octavia Combi 4×4, Octavia vRS, Octavia vRS Combi, Octavia G-TEC, Octavia G-TEC Combi, Octavia Scout, Octavia GreenLine and Octavia GreenLine Combi.
